Once eConsult reaches its maximum limit, the system will turn off automatically until 8am the next working day.

If urgent medical assistance is required which can not wait until the surgery reopens, please call 111 or in the event of an emergency, please call 999.

Calls to 111 & 999 services are free from landline and mobile telephones.

Dear All,

In September ’23, along with other medical practices in the vicinity, Westbrook Medical Centre changed to a new consulting system called Anima which has been trialled for several months.

We have listened to feedback from our patients, staff and other service users in regards to the new system and upon reflection have taken the decision to step away from the Anima platform and revert to eConsult.

For us to complete the operational amendments and to give advance notice of change to all concerned, Anima will stay in place until the close of business on Friday, 12th January 2024. With effect from Monday, 15th January 2024 the eConsult banner will be available via our website and access to this service will be exactly as it was previously, no account set up needed.

We would like to apologise for any difficulties you may have encountered during this trial and to thank everyone who offered feedback. We continue to assure you of our very best intentions at all times.
